Cauldron of Waters
Oil on canvas - Landscape painting of Loch Coruisk in the Black Cuillin Mountains, Isle of Skye.
Work in progress -
Working from my sketches and memory, I don't have access to the exact rock formations so I am making an educated guess as to how everything should look. You could call this artistic licence to do as I please. The sky in the painting will probably be different tomorrow, depends if I like what I see out of my window.

I am now working on Colour Level Two and the eagles are finally starting to become a part of the scenery rather than dominate it.
It's really difficult to be patient and let the layers build up the details over time, rather than slapping it all straight on.
