I am finally getting into the Christmas spirit. Just finished the window decoration. Next the Christmas tree... : )
I've recently been doing some night time photography in Leith Links Park. I discovered that I could draw using the night lights, bit like writing your name with a sparkler.

Two Lemons - Painting number 1 Two Lemons - Painting number 2 Starter Sketch of Two Lemons - Painting number 2 Daily Painting - Original Oil Painting on Oil Paper 10x7 inches This is my very first day of daily painting! OK, I g ot a bit keen stayed up too late and did two paintings. I am currently studying the techniques of the Master painters and needed a way to practice techniques before applying them to my big pieces, h ence, daily painting studies. I also really need the discipline. Life can be hectic and it's not easy to force yourself to paint every single day. Sometimes you just want to put your feet up and numb yourself with television. I am going to think of daily painting like walking a dog. If you have a dog you have to walk it, come rain or shine, no matter how you feel. That dog needs walking.
Original Oil Painting on Oil Paper 20x16 inches. I re-visited this painting as I didn't like the original at all...not a single bit. I asked my sister to help point out where I'd gone wrong. She said to let it go as the painting simply wasn't my style. She then decided it would look better with a spaceship and stuck one on. Then added a tiny cow caught in a death ray. Now I love it 😂
