Daily Painting - Original Oil Painting on Oil Paper 7x5 inches.

I banned myself from using black today to stop my colours becoming muddy. I also thought it has been a while since I painted a mini still life, so gave tomatoes a shot.

I'm just watching 'Frozen Planet' on the telly in HD. All I can say is "WoW...It looks phenomenal". 

But nature programmes have changed and I am always worried that at any point any of the lovely creatures I am watching could be killed off in a blink of an eye. I used to adore nature programmes when I was young and I wonder if children still love them with all the added unnecessary death and drama involved.

So far, so good with the episode I am currently watching, with no baby seals or bunnies gone...

OH NO WOLVES! The wolves are after the ducklings! I may have to look away...

Perhaps my memory is failing me but I can't remember so much drama in nature programmes, is it just me? Was the drama always there but I have turned soft?
